Knitting and weaving are important sources of income for these rural artisans who have very few options for a sustainable income in Bolivia.

These artisans work from home or nearby, in one of the 60 ateliers spread all over El Alto - La Paz, Bolivia, named the Atelier City, where they carry out knitting, weaving and handcrafting activities in their traditional way.

T'RU wants to provide these 700 indigenous artisans (mostly women) and their families a sustainable work and better living conditions.
